Tomic aka Thomas Wagner born in 1967 and raised in Wuppertal, Germany was very early influenced by all kind of music out of the great 70’s and 80’s. He was very impressed about all that kind of different styles and therefore the urge to go in clubs and buy records began as he was 13. In 1995 he starts playing in clubs in the Cologne area like: H90 – Cologne Tiefenrausch – Cologne Boot After-Hour – Cologne Move-Club - Hearthouse-Café – Cologne Remrod – Düsseldorf Factory After-Hour – Dortmund Stargate – Bochum P-Stone Afterhour – Essen Club Morgentau – Düsseldorf Labyrinth – Zürich Only to name some… In 2000 he starts producing deep and vocal house tracks. At the end of 2005 he turns into a more progressive house and progressive trance style. In 2006 he starts releasing on the well known label “Stripped Recordings” from London some EP’s. This productions runs with massive support from big names like DJ Anti, Joyce Mercedes, DJ Bakke, Eelke Kleijn, Hernan Cattaneo, Moshic, Anthony Pappa, Laurent Garnier, Andy More, Mike Hiratzka, Greed, Mental-X and many more. With his productions he became more and more a well known artist in the progressive scene and he decided to set-up his own label “Fraud Recordings” by the end of 2006. Starting from this the biggest names and labels in the scene DJ Anti, DJ Bakke, Spiral Trax and Iboga Records were fascinated by his smooth and hypnotic grooves and they start to support him with releases on Compilations like “Set 7 – Declivity Compilation – Iboga Records”, “Platform 01 – Compilation – Spiral Trax” and the “Bakkelit 2.1 Compilation – Spiral Trax” beside names like Lish, Liquid Soul, Freq, Gaudium, 9 West and many more. Because of his great success he was asked by DJ Anti to release a full length album on Spiral Trax whereby he will be the first German artist who is releasing an album on the biggest label in the scene. Currently he is working on common projects e.g. with Dualism, Klopfgeister, 9 West, Miss Napalm etc. His current DJ Set’s turns from tech and minimal over progressive into smooth psychedelic stuff.
