Tim signed his first recorddeal at the age of 15. After that a few 12 inch releases followed, which got support from various big DJs in The Netherlands and the UK. It was then that Embliss discovered the sounds of Hybrid, BT, and other progressive trance, house and breaks, that inspired him a lot.

After majoring in Music Technology and Sound Design at Utrecht School of the Arts and doing sound design for several (inter)national films, Embliss created his own, unique style somewhere between progressive house, breaks, and trance - taking elements from any form of music or sound - and always with a deeply layered spectrum and an emotional touch.

Embliss' first release saw the light in the fall of 2007: "Kaleido" [Morphosis] gained huge support by a.o. Tiesto. His follow-up "All that was Faded" [Morphosis] also topped the charts at Beatport and other digital stores. Embliss continues defining his sound with tracks and remixes on labels as Nemesis, Morphosis, Silk Digital, Proton and last but not least Armada Music, where his new track "Solstice" hit the shelves in December 2008 on Armada's renowned Electronic Elements label. Embliss is also hosting his own monthly radioshow 'Mind Over Matter' on Proton Radio, as a showcase for his 'outside the box' musical taste, pushing the envelope when it comes to sounds and styles!
